I loved Aluns approach to training and hope someday to be able to access situations as quickly and correctly as he can.  His quiet and tolerant way with dogs was a delight to behold.  I don't think he raised his voice once over the two days.  I told him he would make an exceptional cutting horse trainer.  He replied that he knew nothing about horses, but had been told the same thing before.  If you ever find a western performance trainer who handles horses the way Alun handles dogs, please let me know.

 I just wanted to thank you for putting on the clinic.  I took a lot of things away from Alun's way of handling.   He so quiet that it rubbed off enough for me to handle Jewel quieter .. we tend to wind each other up,
hopefully I will be able to maintain what we discussed and worked on.
